Travel Tips on how to get to Qualcon 2025 in Newcastle, NSW

QUALCON will be held in the main conference rooms of Noah’s on the Beach.

Entry is via Zaara Street, Newcastle.  There are stairs at the entrance.  If a lift is required, please contact their reception – 02 4929 5181

For those wishing to grab a pre-conference caffeine hit, there is a cafe / restaurant onsite, open to the public, from 6.30am.

Carparking

Noah’s on the Beach offer complimentary car parking in the basement and vacant lot next door, via a boom gate, accessible with your room key card. Parking is for registered guests only and subject to availability.

Inter-state travellers:  airport / bus transfers; Newcastle Light Rail (NLR – tram)

Newcastle Airport is located at Williamtown, approx. 30 min drive from Newcastle CBD.

BUS:

Port Stephens Coaches operate a public bus service from Newcastle Airport to the Newcastle Interchange up to 11 times a day.

Opal cards

Whilst Port Stephens Coaches, and the Newcastle Light Rail accept Opal cards, they are not required for travel to and from the Airport, or on the NLR – contactless payments via American Express, Mastercard and Visa are accepted.

NEWCASLTE LIGHT RAIL:

The NLR (tram) runs from the Newcastle Interchange, to Newcastle Beach, with 4 stops in between.
