Dan Powrie has delivered megaprojects from feasibility to operations across two continents. An engineer by training, Dan was Project Director for the city-shaping Sydney Metro West project since its inception and previously led the billion-dollar transformation of Central Station – Australia’s busiest railway station – to prepare it for driverless metro trains.

As General Manager Delivery of the proposed Newcastle to Sydney high speed rail link, Dan leads a team that will transform how the Hunter region connects to the rest of Australia for generations to come.
