The Mercure Brisbane is centrally located on Brisbane’s bustling river and entertainment districts. All guestrooms are bathed in natural light and offer everything to make your stay a comfortable one. The CBD, major shopping precincts and tourist attractions, including river boat cruising and transport as well as the Entertainment Centre, are all within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Conference Facilities

The Mercure Brisbane ensures that every meeting is a memorable and successful one, from a corporate boardroom meeting to a spectacular gala banquet. The purpose built function rooms span 3 levels, over 1,400 square metres, to accommodate meetings of 4 to 3000 guests. The Ballroom, on the 1st floor of the hotel, has an impressive pre-function area with a sun filled balcony, original features and high ceilings.

When does the conference start and finish?

Registration, cocktails and canapes begins at 6pm on Sunday October 14th. Registration and coffee opens on Monday at 9am and we finish at 5:20pm. Registration and coffee opens at 8:30am Tuesday and we finish at 3:35pm.

Accommodation Rates

Qualcon Guests are offered 15% of standard room rates. There are a number of different styles and budgets to choose from.

You may choose to stay at the Mercure or at the Ibis, depending on your budget.

Both the Mercure and the Ibis Hotels are in the same complex and adjacent to the Conference Area.

Breakfast is available upon request at the time of booking.

Check-in/ Check-out Time

Check-in time is 2pm on day of arrival.

For guests arriving prior to this time, the venue will do all possible to provide earlier access to rooms. Alternatively pre-registration (i.e. payment of the room from the night prior) will guarantee immediate access to guests’ rooms.

Check-out time is 11.00am on day of departure.

Late departures or day-use can be arranged, upon request and subject to availability.
